Sin saber como, Laure, Marta y yo estábamos en el puerto de Sanur montando en un bote con destino a la isla de Nusa Lembongan; imagino que buscábamos algún lugar interesante lejos de la dinámica turista de la isla de Bali.
Tras dos horas en aquel "slowboat" nuestras miradas pudieron contemplar el que vendría a ser nuestro destino para los siguientes tres días. La isla se dibujaba a los lejos, generosa, verde, con playas de arena de blanca y un arrecife de coral que contorneaba su afinada figura.
Nuestras sonrisas se mezclaron con el color blanco de la arena de la playa nada mas pisar tierra firme, y desde ese preciso momento no paramos de hacer cosas en la isla.
La recorrimos a píes de una punta a otra, descubriendo playas, miradores, plantaciones, manglares y lugares llenos de tranquilidad.
Cervezas nocturnas, atardeceres y baños en sus playas se convirtieron en rutina......
Lembongan is a small island south from Bali. It was lovely. We have spent a few days here, mostly walking around, snorkelling and just chilling out... A part of the island is very rocky. The beaches are nice but it's not easy to find a beach where you can just dive in the water... the low tide during the daytime makes you walk far away from the shore in order to swim. But it's a fair price to pay when you get to see this wunderfull clear blue colour wherever you look. It was so relaxing to just watch the small boats floating on the calm, crystaline water... I could do it for hours. The inner part of the island is very dry, but gives so many opportunities to se how the people live. And we even managed to enter the mangrove forrests:)
Lembongan to mała wyspa położona na południe od Bali- i całkiem do Bali niepodobna, o wiele mniej turystyczna, spokojna... Spędziliśmy to kilka dni- przede wszystkim urządzając sobie piesze wycieczki, nurkując i gapiąc się na ocean. A jest naprawdę na co, bo woda ma tu kolor nieba- rano szaro- niebieski, około południa tak błękitny, że prawie kłuje w oczy.
Niski stan wody w ciągu dnia nie ułatwia pływania, ale widok kolorowych łódek dryfujących po prawie płaskiej jak lustro tafli wody, całkowicie ten mankament tuszuje. Zajrzeliśmy też wewnątrz wyspy- który jest suchy i porośnięty kaktusami. Poza tym znaleźć tu można namorzynowe lasy oraz strome skały, o które z wielkim hukiem rozbijają się fale (ujeżdżane nieopodal przez licznych tu surferów)
