RISHIKESH...

RISHIKESH es un lugar con mayúsculas, situado en el estado de Uttarakhand, y colindante a la también sagrada ciudad de Haridwar. Es conocida como la puerta de los Himalaya, y esta situada en las estribaciones de dicha cordillera.

Por aquí es donde el famoso Ganges abandona la cordillera de Siwalik para adentrase en la llanura norte de la India, es por eso que también esta zona es sagrada y hay numerosos templos en las orillas.

Ademas Rishikesh es la capital mundial del yoga, y aquí uno puede encontrar multitud de Áshram, que son centros destinados a estudios vedánticos y yoga, por lo que aquí vienen gran cantidad de peregrinos y turistas a instalarse en los centros y aprender dichas técnicas.

A nosotros Rishikesh nos dio armonía, tranquilidad, relajación, mientras recorríamos la orilla del Ganges o disfrutábamos de unos baños en sus aguas.......aquí comenzamos a saber que nuestra partida de India estaba próxima.

Rishikesh is another pilgrim city, close to Himalaya and at the riverbanks of Ganges. It is so different then Pushkar. Off course, apart from the pilgrims, it is filled with tourists, but it seems calmer, less commercial. People come here mostely to do yoga, as the place is a world known yoga center. Most of the tourists stay at the ashrams and do their meditations and yoga lessons. Apart from that, the city is just beautiful!the river is still clean, the mountains mighty and waking respect....We were so sad having to leave this place after only few days...

Szorcik: Rishikesh to kolejne miejsce pielgrzymek, ale jakże różne od Pushkar. Oprócz pielgrzymów mnóstwo tu turystów, ale większość z nich przyjeżdża tutaj aby doskonalić swoją wiedzę o jodze. Rishikesh to światowe centrum jogi, można tu uczestniczyć we wszelakiego rodzaju kursach z najlepszymi joginami, uczestniczyć w medytacjach i spać w ashramach. Poza tym miejsce to jest po prostu niesamowicie piękne!Ganges jest czysty (i zimny, brrrr...) a bliskość Himalayów sprawia, że gdziekolwiek nie spojrzeć, czuje się potęgę nautry.
