DELHI....

Para poner punto y final a nuestro largo periplo por la apasionante India, no podíamos mas que elegir la capital, DELHI.

Sin duda una de las ciudades mas grandes y dinámicas de India, Delhi nos ofrecía todo. Allí decidimos alojarnos en el barrio de Paharganj y disfrutar desde dentro de la apasionante vida de la ciudad, además estaba cerca de la estación de trenes desde donde partiríamos días después rumbo a la frontera de Nepal.

En Delhi visitamos el famoso Fuerte Rojo, el Minarete de Qutab y los numerosos bazares que dan tanta vida a la ciudad. La recorrimos a pie para disfrutarla en todo su apogeo, para sentir las últimas bocanadas de vida india y fuimos hasta capaces de meternos en el metro en hora punta para comprobar la multitud de gente que se mueve en esta ciudad.

Delhi y su vida callejera, sus barrios mas recónditos y el constante bullicio en cada rincón nos regalaron todo eso que buscábamos antes de abandonar la India....

Delhi was our last stop in India. The city is huge, very modern and the movement here never stops. We stayed in the Paharganj, which is the part close to the train station, where most of the foreigners stay and that is closest to all of the best markets in town. We spent hours walking around our quartier, just observing the people and soaking the last moments and images of India. We visited a bit of the must-see things like the Red Fort (nice but not as beautiful as the one in Agra) or Qutab Minar, but really- we dedicated most of our time just walking around and enjoying the closer look city and its inhabitants.

Szorcik: Nasz ostatni przystanek na trasie poprzez Indie to Delhi. Miasto jest potężne, super nowoczesne i pełne życia i werwy. Na szybko zwiedziliśmy najważniejsze zabytki, takie jak czerwony fort czy mainaret Qutab... aby potem oddać się tylko i wyłącznie obserwacji codziennego życia miasta. Mieszkaliśmy w dzielnicy Paharganj, w okolicach dworca. Niezliczone wąskie ulice dały nam mnóstwo możliwości do nacieszenia oczu tym co Indie mają do zaoferowania....uśmiechy mieszkańców, feria kolorów w sklepach z materiałami, uliczne jedzenie, chaos ruchu ulicznego... wszystkim tym chcieliśmy nasiąknąć aby móc zabrać jak najwięcej z tych wrażeń ze sobą...Deli to prawdziwa kwintesencja Indii!
