Era una ciudad tranquila, construida alrededor de sus templos y ghats sagrados, y convertida gracias al yoga y la tranquilidad en una ciudad de peregrinaje para turistas y viajeros que buscaban cierto descanso.
In our trip we often listen to the advice of other travellers regarding where to go next and usually the tips are good. We heard so much good about Pushkar that we decided to visit this small pilgrimage town... and got a bit dissapointed. Off course there are many interesting templesand nice architecture, but the town so full of hipster-hippies that go there to do their shopping, that it somwhere lostit's authenticity...Beeing here was a bit like staying in any european summer resort...
Szorcik: W naszej podróży bardzo często kiierujemy się podpowiedziami innych podróżników. Jedna z bardzo polecanych destynacji było miasteczko Pushkar, jedno z kilku ważnych miejsc pielgrzymkowych dla Hinduistów. Owszem, świątynie były ciekawe, stare, rzeźbione fasady budynków piękne, ale atmosfera miasteczka nas rozczarowała. Miejsce to odwiedzają pseudo hipisi podróżujący po Indiach, aby tu zrobić zakupy i ten komercyjny charakter czuć na każdym kroku...
