BANGKOK, CHINATOWN..

Probably all the big, modern cities in the world need it...  Chinatown:) Thanon Yaowarat (and the surrounding streets)- the Chinatown in Bangkok is big and full of life. The Chinese came here and stayed about 200 years ago. Before they lived , where the Wat Phra Kaew palace stands now. The chinese community was a part of the community of Bangkok since forever. The people here are well integrated in the society, and in many cases already mixed with the Thais. In Chinatown you can buy  everything. Really, everything! But what's really outstanding is the street food. You can see and try (if you dare!) so many different things, sometimes you will probably not even know what you are eating:) But mostly- it's cheap and fresh food!
