Desde Bangkok nos dirigimos en autobús hacía el sur de Tailandia, exactamente a la isla de Phuket y mas concretamente a su capital Phuket town, para desde allí emprender las futuras aventuras.
La primera impresión fue saber que nos hallábamos en un lugar de gran belleza y que su entorno a bien seguro nos iba a sorprender en el futuro. Phuket como ciudad, era tranquila y sosegada , al menos en esta parte de la isla, pues al lado mas occidental son conocidas sus grandes fiestas.
Fue un día tranquilo, de toma de contacto con el sur del país y para planear nuestras futuras aventuras.....
Phuket Island is one of the Andaman islands in the south of Thailand. The island is mostly known for it''s beaches and the party town of Patong. We only stayed one night on the island- in the city of Phuket, which during this time of a yaer is pretty calm and tourist free. The architecture has visible colonial- portuguese influences. We took a really long stroll around the bay of Phuket, which may not be the most beautiful place in the world but is quite pleasant.
Szorcik: Wyspa Phuket jest dość spora i znana ze swoich plaż oraz imprezowego miasta Patong. My odwiedziliśmy jedynie stolicę wyspy- miasto Phuket, niezbyt turystyczne- szczególnie o tej porze roku, ale dzięki temu to spokojne, typowe tajskie miasto z pysznym tanim jedzeniem w chinatown. W starej części miasta widać mocne portugalskie wpływy kolonialne w architekturze. A spacer wokół całkiem miłej dla oka zatoki zabrał nam kilka całkiem miłych godzin.
