HASTA PRONTO TAILANDIA.....KOP KOON KRUP/KAA.

Tercera y posiblemente la última vez que volvamos por Tailandia en este viaje, aunque nunca se sabe cuando se viaja sin muchos planes.
De nuevo volvíamos a Bangkok, para ahora emprender rumbo a Laos.
Pero TAILANDIA, ha sido un lugar donde hemos pasado entre los tres periodos la friolera de 40 días, quizás no ha sido el país mas llamativo y mucho menos donde los nativos nos han dado mayores muestras de cariño u hospitalidad, pero ha sido un país donde hemos llenado paginas de anécdotas, anécdotas que marcarán por seguro nuestro viaje.
Hemos vivido "Un Golpe de Estado"con el "Toque de Queda" que nos proporcionó mas que miedos, incertidumbre, pero que nos ayudó a construir en nuestras cabezas la historia mas reciente del país y por tanto el funcionamiento de su sociedad actual. 
Hemos disfrutado de parajes e islas maravillosas en el Mar de Andamán o el Golfo de Tailandia, donde hemos sabido perdernos y saborear la hermosura que nos acompañaba.
Hemos viajado al norte y al sur o disfrutado de la incomparable Bangkok. Hemos desde luego dejado innumerable lugares por visitar, pero uno no puede ir a todos los sitios, sino disfrutar de aquello donde el viaje te lleva, muchas veces sin saber porque.
Hemos sentido un lugar muy próximo, llamado Koh Tao, ¡donde hemos ido dos veces!, cercano sin duda por la gran cantidad de amigos que allí hicimos, por quedarnos atrapados por su tranquilidad y sus playas y sobre todo por haber realizado allí una de las experiencias que marcarán el viaje y seguramente nuestras vidas, aprender a bucear. Aquí nos certificamos como buceadores recreativos, y mas que eso, como exploradores de los fondos marinos. Siempre llevare esta isla en mi corazón, siempre amaré haber acabado allí sin saber muy bien que nos encontraríamos.
Tailandia quizás no se ha abierto a nosotros como otros países, y su causa principal, yo la veo en que el "turismo" es la causa principal de haber "podrido" parte de esa esencia natural de las gentes a la hospitalidad, un turismo masivo, unas veces "sexual" y otras simplemente "turístico" que ha provocado en cadena un proceso de putrefacción , de intereses económicos por encima de intereses humanos, donde el dinero fácil a desintegrado a parte de la sociedad y ha provocado a otra a apartarse de sus camino. Sin generalizar esa ha sido mi impresión personal, pero sigo pensando que las sonrisas o la simpatía de muchas de sus nativos fue enormemente sincera, y con eso es con lo que me quedo, bueno con eso y con la ilusión de volver quizás algún día a descubrir una Tailandia mas humana, aunque tenga que buscar por tierra, mar o aire......
KOP KOON KRUP/KAA THAILAND!!!

We have visited Thailand three times and saw the many different sides of it: the most touristic beaches of the world, lonely hidden bays, jungle, lakes, mountains, rivers.... We met loads of different people and learnt a lot. We saw in what grade the tourism "spoiled" the people some of the places, saturated by the thousands of drunken, respectless tourists, that don't care about what impressions they leave behind. But we laso saw Thailand that is real, people that still sincerely smile when they see tourists and places that still are untouched and where you can relax far away from the full moon/beach party atmosphere. 
Thailand is a country with an undeniable charm- if you let influence yourself by the magic. It's a really easy place to travel around- very western, but still exotic and oriental. And we have so much left to discover there. Our plans were to travel everywhere around the country but once we found few of the nice spots, it got to hard to leave them. And it's also hard to say goodbye to Thailand, but maybe it's not a goodbye... yes... let's hope it's a see you later Thailand!

Szorcik: Tajlandię odwiedziliśmy w sumie trzy razy i mieliśmy okazję zobaczyć jej różne oblicza: najbardziej turystyczne plaże świata, samotne zatoki, jeziora, rzeki, góry, dżunglę. Tajlandia to miejsce naprawdę różnorodne, jeśli nie skupimy się na niesławnych imprezowych resortach, możemy znaleźć tu ciekawe i nie przeludnione, niemal dziewicze regiony. Niestety wpływ masowej turystyki jest tu widoczny na każdym prawie kroku- szczególnie w typowych imprezowniach typu Phuket czy Koh Phangan, gdzie pijackie wybryki i imprezy typu Full Moon Party sprawiły, że autochtoni patrzą na obcokrajowców niezbyt przychylnym okiem... oczywiście nadal czerpiąc z turystyki zyski. Choć, między Bogiem a prawdą, miejscowych zostało tam tak naprawdę niewielu. To raczej wielkie sieci hotelowe i inwestorzy zagraniczni zarabiają duże pieniądze... lokalna ludność albo z takich miejsc ucieka, albo mocno się izoluje.
Mimo to Tajlandia nadal jest przyjemnym krajem do podróżowania- i dodatkowo dość łatwym, a to właśnie dzięki mocnym wpływom zachodniej kultury. Nie jest też tak, że kraj całkowicie zatracił swą autentyczność. Nadal są tu niemal dziewicze tereny, nieznające masowej turystyki- a wiele z nich pozostało nam jeszcze do odkrycia!

FOOD/JEDZENIE/COMIDA

Thai food is an explosion of tastes, spices, textures. It's colourful, variable and surprising. Off course it's mostly based on meat and fish, but there are some nice vegan options. In my head there is still a war going on between the indian and thai cuisine... and probably both of them will have to share the first place in my culinary world of tastes. I love the unkown for me mixtures of different tastes and spices that I never even heard of. I love the spicy, hot chilli touch in almost everything. Could this be love?

Tajska kuchnia to eksplozja smaków, kolorów, tekstur, egzotycznych przypraw i intensywnych zapachów. Oczywiście, jak wszędzie w okolicy, podstawą jest niestety mięso (z dużą ilością ryb i owoców morza), a zamiast soli nagminnie używa się tu sosu rybnego, a potrawy doprawia pastą z krewetek oraz okrasza porządną ilością glutaminianu sodu oraz innych chemicznych polepszaczy, jednak dla wegan i wegetarian zawsze znajdą się jakieś warzywne opcje, a w awaryjnych sytuacjach można poratować się owocami, do których dostęp jest bardzo łatwy.
Ja cały czas mam dylemat której kuchni przyznać pierwsze miejsce na mojej liście faworytów- indyjskiej, czy tajskiej... choć biorąc pod uwagę ich różnorodność pewnie będzie to miejsce pierwsze ex aequo. Bez delikatnego posmaku trawy cytrynowej, kokosowych curry, delikatnego tofu, zaskakującego galangalu oraz nieodzownego chilli i jego ostrości już nie będę mogła żyć!

many meals are served with fresh herbs and greens apart, and the most typical salad is green papaya salad (difficult to get vegan- they usually put fish sauce and dried shrimps in it) made of shredded green papaya, tomatoes, carrots peanuts and spicy- sweet lime chilli dressing/ większość posiłków, w szczególności zupy serwowane są z przystawką złożoną z liści kapusty lub sałaty oraz zestawu świeżych ziół; królową wśród sałatek jest za to sałatka z zielonej papai, w której skład wchodzą, oprócz pokrojonej w cieniutkie paseczki papai, pomidory, orzeszki ziemne, marchewka i, opcjonalnie, inne świeże warzywa oraz często suszone krewetki. Wersja wegańska jest możliwa choć trudna do znalezienia: oprócz krewetek w samej sałatce, do dressingu często dodaje się sos rybny, poza tym dressing bazuje na ostrych papryczkach chilli, cukrze oraz soku z limonki/ las comidas o mas habitualmente las sopas están normalmente acompañadas por verduras verdes (lechuga, col) y hierbas; la reina de las ensaladas es la ensalada de papaya verde.

ACCOMMODATION/ NOCLEGI/ ALOJAMIENTOS

Thailand is well prepared to accomodate the thousands of tourists that come and visit the country each year. Sleeping is basically cheap and the rooms very clean. Off course in the very touristy places like Phuket, you need to count with spending a bit more, but still it is possible to find backpacker accomodations at a fair price. Also, some islands like Koh Phi Phi will be a bit more expensive then the rest of the country (also when it comes to food) but it is always possible to get something within the low budget rates.

Tajlandia jest świetnie przygotowana do przyjęcia tysięcy turystów odwiedzających rocznie ten kraj. Miejsca noclegowe są tanie i czyste. Ceny noclegów dla backpackerów oscylują między 5-15 USD za pokój/ domek. Oczywiście są miejsca nieco droższe, jak np. Phuket czy Koh Phi Phi, jednak nawet tam można znaleźć coś w przyzwoitej, mieszczącej się w niskim budżecie podróżniczym, cenie.

TRANSPORT

The transport in Thailand takes mostly place by bus or by boat. Boats will take you to the island- they have usually AC on board an sun decks for the sun lovers. It usually takes several hours to get anywhere. Night boats are the cheaper and pretty comfortable option. The public transport in Bangkok works fine and is surprisingly well organized and quick. Ypu can choose between metro, skytrain, buses, taxis, tuk tuks, motos and water trams. Also the trains around the country are nice- especially the night trains are worth to take in consideration for longer trips. The most popular are the buses. We spent uncountable hours travelling with them... and hate them a little bit. If you start your bus trip in Bangkok, the travelagency will probably take you on a long walk around the city, picking the passengers from different hotels and guesthouses... a tour like this can take almost an hour including waiting times at each place- not fun when you have your heavy backpack on your back. During the travel, bus stops several times (usually long enough for eating and visiting the restrooms), but sometimes these stops are made fx at 2 am, so that the passenger get waken up in order to visit a restaurants... The bus trips are usually looong, the buses seem ok at the first sight, but the seats are not the most comfortable and you often find yourself wet from the water dripping from the AC or completely frozen after spending a night at 15'C... but maybe we just spent to many hours travelling with them?

Transport w Tajlandii jest raczej dobrze zorganizowany. Bangkok oferuje weile możliwości przemieszczania się: szybką kolejkę miejską, metro, tramwaje wodne, autobusy, tuk tuki, taksówki oraz funkcjonujące jako taksówki motory.

Na wszystkie wyspy dostać się można promami- podróże są niezbyt długie a na pokładzie ma się do wyboru klimatyzowane pomieszczenia oraz pokład słoneczny. Warto także rozważyć nocne podróże promem, są one w miarę niedrogie i całkiem wygodne- no i przy okazji oszczędza się na noclegu:) Podobnie zresztą ma się sprawa z nocnymi pociągami.

Osobna historia to autobusy. My je troszkę nienawidzimy, spędziliśmy w nich wiele długich (przede wszystkim nocnych) godzin. Na pierwszy rzut oka wydają się być w porządku, jednak podczas podróży zazwyczaj okazuje się, że coś nie działa: a to krzesło się nie rozkłada, a to kapie woda z klimatyzacji, albo temperatura w autobusie przypomina raczej lodówkę, niż miejsce w który ktoś mógłby spokojnie przespać noc. Jeśli podróż autokarem rozpoczynamy w Bangkoku, musimy się przygotować na długi spacer po mieście ze swoimi ciężkimi plecakami, podczas którego odwiedza się różne hotele i zbiera w ten sposób wszystkich pasażerów. Autobusy zatrzymują się w restauracjach kilka razy podczas trasy, dając okazję do zjedzenia czegoś lub skorzystania z toalety... niestety do tej pory nie udało nam się zgadnąć dlaczego te postoje mają miejsce ok 2 nad ranem.... wybudzeni ze snu turyści raczej nie wyglądają wtedy na głodnych....
