Johor Barhu es la ciudad limítrofe con Singapur, lo que le da ese toque característico de ciudad fronteriza. Solo que aquí la frontera es un ¡Centro comercial!, es alucinante, aquí viene la gente de Singapur a hacer compras mas baratas y por el otro lado es el punto obligado de paso de malayos y cuanto turista quiera pasar a Singapur por tierra.
Es por tanto que Johor Barhu es la segunda ciudad mas poblada de Malasia, y convertida a efectos de eso en importante núcleo industrial, de comercio y turismo.
On our trip we pass so many cities, that we don't even mention... we just stay there for a few hours, waiting for the next bus, train, ride.... usualy these places are not special, not beautiful, not famous.... their simply normal, and we are glad to be able to see some of them, and see how people really live- outside of the typical touristic routes...
In the malaysian Johor Barhu we spent a few hours, just enough for a long walk around the city and also enough time to get lost in the huge mall in the centre:) Johor is the boarder city, where the people from Singapore come for cheap shopping.
Szorcik: W czasie naszej podróży spędziliśmy długie godziny w wielu miastach, których nazw już nawet nie pamiętamy. Czekając na kolejne autobusy i pociągi mieliśmy w tych miejscach okazję przyjrzeć się codziennemu życiu mieszkańców różnych krajów, z daleka od turystycznych atrakcji. Miasta, jak malezyjskie Johor Barhu niczym się nie wyróżniają, są szare i zwykłe. Ale to właśnie czyni je ciekawymi. Kilka godzin w Johor, mieście graniczącym z Singapurem, gdzie jego mieszkańcy przyjeżdżają na zakupy, okazało się być całkiem interesujące, mimo że zupełnie przeciętne... No i mieliśmy niewątpliwą okazję zgubić się w olbrzymim przygranicznym centrum handlowym, na tyle wielkim, że wyjścia nie było nigdzie widać:)
