After the speedy visit in Bordeaux we went to the beach (the weather was good so we had to use the opportunity to get brown). We went to Cap Ferret…. Or actually Claouey… or actually a huge camping outside the village. There works our friend Remy and we wanted to pay him a short visit. He is responsible for a big bar on the camping. Unfortunately he had to work the whole night long, but that didn’t stop us from spending time with him. We had great fun- especially because all the waiters were dressed up for the beginning of the football season. The day after was a beach day. First we took a bath in the Ocean in Truc Vert (we know it from last year!). The wind was pretty strong so we got really exhausted fighting the waves and we loved it. Than we lunched together with Remy in his bar/restaurant and left direction Cap Ferret. We stopped at a beach just before the cape. The beach was small but because the tide we had the chance to walk around between the boats and get all the way the the baskets with oysters, which usually are covered by the water. While Hector took his afternoon nap in the sun, Marta and me went for a long walk with a view on the Dune de Pilat.
