ESTATUA DE D'ARTAGNAN.

AUCH capital histórica de la Gascognia, rinde homenaje a uno de los mas celebres gascones conocidos mundialmente....D'ARTAGNAN.
Auch atravesada por el río Gers, se compone de la "ciudad alta" que es la ciudad medieval construida sobre una colina y la "ciudad baja" situada al otro lado del río y completamente plana.
Es en la Ville Haute (ciudad alta) donde se encuentran todos los monumentos y la parte interesante de la ciudad,como la  Catedral de Santa María, la torre de Armagnac y la famosa escalera monumental con la estatua de D'artagnan.....
Auch, tierra de gascones y del armagnac......

All for One and One for All!Remember D'Artagnan and the three Mousquetaires? Well the hometown of D'Artagnan (or actually Charles de Batz-Castelmore, count d'Artagnan) is not so far away from us, in the departament of Gers. The old city was built on a small mountain and was founded already by the Romans. The most significant piece of architecture would probably be the Sainte-Marie Cathedral, as for me though the most interesting was the house of the tourist office.

Szorcik: "Jeden za wszystkich, wszyscy za jednego", którz z was nie marzył o tym by zostać piątym muszkieterem? Nam przynajmniej udało się odwiedzić rodzinną miejscowość D'Artagnana (czy raczej Charlesa de Batz-Castelmore, hrabiego d'Artagnan). Auch to stolica departamentu Gers. Stare miasto jest usytuowane na niewielkim wzgórzu. Najbardziej znany zabytek to pewnie Katedra Sainte-Marie, ale mnie urzekła przede wszystkim siedziba informacji turystycznej!
