SAI KUNG - HONG KONG....NUESTRO BARRIO.

Hong Kong no es simplemente la gran ciudad de Hong Kong, sino que en sus territorios hay mucho mas.

Para nosotros seguramente ,cuando recordemos Hong Kong, evocaremos sobre todo el lugar donde fuimos alojados gracias a la hospitalidad de Mikael a través de "couchsurfing". El lugar estaba situado el distrito de Nuevos Territorios, junto a SAI KUNG.

En Sai Kung y sus alrededores hay una vida mas placentera que en el meollo de la "city", aquí los paisajes son endiabladamente bonitos, los puertos se llenan de pescadores que venden sus productos desde la barcas y los mercados se abren paso en las calles y callejuelas.

Es una buena zona para perderse y echar un día entre playitas y puestos de comida callejera.

Para mi Sai Kung será siempre sinónimo de hospitalidad, pues Mikael nos abrió las puertas de sus casa durante los tres días que estuvimos en Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong we surfed the couch of Mikael, who is German, born in Sweden and lived almost whole his life in Hong Kong. We stayed in the part called The New Territories, but spent most of our time in the part of it called Sai Kung. There, at the pier, you can catch a ferry or yacht to the other parts of Hong Kong or to the many beaches. The sea promenade gives you possibilities to try some street food- mostly seafood freshly from the sea. The animals are treated very badly before they end up on the tables of marine animal flesh... beeing thrown around like they were things, often left outside water, suffocaiting in plastic bags. People also take pictures with the big fish or langostas in their hands- getting hit or  stunned if they try to much.... not a good place to be for animal lovers, especially because negative reaction to the way the animals are treated ends up with a stupid smile on the face of the people...I guess there is much more to do here....
Other than than, we spent a lot of time at the local Stanley Market and making pick nicks at the beaches near to it.

Szorcik: W Hong Kongu zatrzymaliśmy się w dzielnicy New Territories u Mikaela, Niemca, urodzonego w Szwecji, który większość życia spędził właśnie tutaj. Większość czasu spędzaliśmy po prostu spacerjąc po nieodległym od naszego couchsurfingowego domu Sai Kung, gdzie w porcie można złapać statek zarówno  do innych zakątków miasta, jak i na bliższe lub dalsze plaże. Na Stanley Market rozejrzeć sie można za pamiątkami oraz kupić małe co nieco na późniejszy piknik na jednej z osiedlowych plaż. W porcie można też kupic świeżo złowione ryby i owoce morza, mięsożerność (rybożerność) tutejszej ludności chyba mnie dziwić nie powinna, natomiast sposób w jaki traktuje się zwierzęta które za chwilę trafią na talerz już tak... kilkukilogramowe langusty rzucane są na kilka metrów jak rzeczy, ryby wyjmuje się z wody tylko po to aby turyści mogli zrobić sobie z nimi zdjęcia (sesje takie trwają wystarczająco długo aby poddusić rybę), a jeśli walczą o oddech, po prostu uderza się nimi o ziemię...
