Siguiendo con nuestra vida-aventura francesa, el Domingo, el Otoño nos regaló un día mágico con un sol de Primavera, ¡y eso debemos aprovecharlo!.
Era Domingo 12 de Diciembre , el Sol invadía con su claridad la habitación , y mi sonrisa reflejaba los agradecimientos ante tan impresionante día.
Nos decidimos por seguir conociendo un poco más El Departamento de Gironda, y esta vez nos dirigimos hacía Blaye, allí existe una ciudadela increíble, en muy buena conservación y que es parte de la historia de la región, pues fue creada para defender la entrada de barcos a través del estuario de la Gironde y sirvió entre otras batallas a las sufridas entre inglese protestantes y españoles católicos....pero fue un enclave importante de defensa de estas tierras contra los ingleses.
El día era soleado, pero hacia realmente un frío increíble, que no impedia contempláramos la belleza de los paisajes, el estuario, las arboledas otoñales, las migraciones de aves.....Además seguimos un recorrido siguiendo el curso del estuario y visitando varias poblaciones más, como Plassac y sus ruinas de una villa galo-romana, Bourg y sus vistas esplendorosas, para acabar de nuevo en Libourne y pasear por sus calles de ambiente navideño.
As we don't have nothing to do these days, we thought it would be nice to pass our free time as unemployed on making some trips in the neighborhood... but it's not easy here in this region as we already in the early months of fall, visited all the sightseeing sights... the last big thing to see in Gironde was the citadel of Blaye. It was built in the end of the 17th century and is really amazing: huge and monumental. Inside there are houses, where people still live!!!
Than, after the walk in beautiful but very windy citadel, we searched for some new, not discovered before, tourist attractions... thats how we have found the rests of roman- gaelic village and a small prehistoric cave...
And the day ended with a cup of hot wine in Libourne!nice:)
