Bergerac, the hometown of Cyrano

Tras unas horas rodeados de vinos y paisajes vinícolas ,decidimos que nuestro viaje debía tomar otro rumbo, mirando el mapa nos dirigimos hacia Bergerac,  famosa por su habitante Cyrano de Bergerac,(militar, filosofo, poeta escritor...), pero yo, me quedo con su cita : "Un hombre honesto no es ni francés, ni alemán, ni español, es Ciudadano del Mundo, y su patria está en todas partes". ( Un honnête homme n'est ni Français, ni Allemand, ni Espagnol, il est Citoyen du monde, et sa patrie est partout).

Cyrano de Bergerac

 Bergerac is one of the many beautifull towns, with a long history, a lot of medieval, 17th and18th century buildings...but i guess everybody contects the town only with one personality: Cyrano de Bergerac, a fictional parson from the dramatic piece by Edmond Rostand, which actually existed (I had to come to France to find that out:)!)and which fmily owned the town... Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac was a French dramatist and duellist that lived in the 17th century and really had a huuuuge nose:)
