De nuevo mediante "couchsurfing", fuimos alojados en Circasia, por Hernán y Maritza ( y sus hijas que aunque no estuvieran allí , siempre estuvieron presente ) con los cuales disfrutamos de 7 días inolvidables.
Hernán nos llevo de visita a distintas partes de la comarca, como a Filandia, Pijao, Salento, Armenia o a distintas fincas cafeteras, a parte de ayudarnos a realizar un Taller de cocina Vegana en un restaurante de Armenia.
La hospitalidad de Maritza y Hernán fue abrumadora, compartimos muy buenos momentos en esa casa que emanaba paz y felicidad. Hernán que es un excelente cocinero, nos agasajaba con platos exquisitos y los cafés mas impresionantes de este planeta.
Fue un honor haber caído en sus manos por una semana inolvidable y por haberse convertido en nuestra familia del Quindío. Su hospitalidad, generosidad y ayuda son ya parte importante de nuestro periplo alrededor del Mundo.

PIJAO- another typical small town.
We have spent our time in Eje Cafetero in the house of a great CS family in Circasia. Hernan and Maritza really made us feel that we are at home. They travelled the world doing couchsurfing with their two daughters and now open their beautiful home to travellers. While we were there, we spent time with an australian couple and a guy from Italy. Hernan is an active member of Slow FOOD movement and he just loves cooking and experimenting in the cuisine- so I don´ñt have to tell you how much I loved our cooking duells and I guess Hector had a great time tasting our creations aswell. Also, with the help of Hernan we managed to organize a vegan workshop in an restaurant in Armenia. Maritza made us get in christmass mood with her amazing decorations and enthusiasm.
Nasze centrum dowodzenia w Eje Cafetero to dom Hernana i Maritzy w miasteczku Circasia. Nasi wspaniali couchsurferzy podróżują po świecie ze swoimi dorosłymi już córkami używając właśnie CS. Podczas naszej wizyty, otworzyli oni swój dom również dla pary z Australii oraz dla Włocha. Połączyliśmy więc siły zwiedzając okolice.
Hernan jest aktywnym członkiem ruchu Słów Food i uwielbia gotować- nie muszę chyba dodawać że dzięki temu nasza wizyta zamieniła się w prawdziwy kuchenny pojedynek, na którym najbardziej skorzystał chyba Hector:) Z pomocą Hernana udało nam się zorganizować kurs kuchni wegańskiej w jednej z restauracji w mieście Armenia. Natomiast Maritza zaraziła nas świątecznym nastrojem dzięki swojej pasji dla dekoracji.
