After few weekends spent on sightseeing in medieval villages we wanted to break the monothony and do something else... go out i the nature. With 30 C and no cloud in the sky, we thought it would be the perfect moment to tart the kayaking season, but unfortunately the french people didn´t think the same- it´s impossible to rent conoe or kayak yet. But no worry- there is always an emergency exit:) Our plan B was trekking i the mountains close to river Aveyron, in the neighbourhood of St. Antonin. First we took a walk at the riverside, with a break for a picknick... than climed one of the mountains to take a look at the valley of St. Antonin. The day ended with the first bath this year- in the cool water of Aveyron. It´s so nice to know that the nice weather is here to stay... And the Gorges d´Aveyron are still on our list of things to see. The rocks of the valley are full of trekking routes perfect for woleday walks... and the landscapes just precious!!!

Musielismy wiec wdrozc w zycie plan zapasowy, ktory okazal sie wielkim sukcesem. Dzien spedzilismy na wedrowkach szlakami pieszymi wzdluz rzeki Aveyron, pikniku nad rzeka, nastepnie wspinaczce na punkt widokowy skad rozposciera sie widok na doline wokol St:Antonin. Wisienka na torcie okazala sie kapiel w rzece:) Woda chlodna ale potem mozna sie rozgrzac lezac w sloneczku:)

Algo que he aprendido en estos meses en Francia, es que no puedes hacer algo sobre la marcha....todo tienes que organizarlo!!!  llamar y pedir cita!!.

La cuestión es que aprovechando los 33º del Sábado, pues queríamos hacer kayak, lo que resulto imposible....Pero se convirtió en una placentera marcha sobre la rivera del Aveyron, entre las villas de St Antonin y Cazals, además de la ascensión a la Roca de Anglairs, con una vista panorámica del valle de St Antonin , culminado todo ello con unos refrescantes baños sobre el Aveyron en las cercanías de Cazals, una pequeña villa limítrofe entre los departamentos de Tarn y Tarn-et-Garonne.

Lo mejor es haber encontrado esta playita en el río a tan solo 20 minutos de casa!!!
